Ascension Part XII: First Encounter

Ascension Part XI: Discovering Others

  The water felt good when Myra dived into the pool to start her warm up. Like she was being welcomed into a safe place, embraced by something simple, warm, and loving. She emerged from the water at the opposite end of the pool when she heard something and looked up. A camera at the upper left-hand corner of room was moving. She waved at the camera and gave it a brief smile. Wyatt was checking up on her. It was a kind gesture considering he had retired to the guest house with the most intense headache she had ever seen.
